HINTS AND PLAYING TIPS
SECRET WALL ROOMS
When you are at the end of the game in between battling the Devil's Snare and facing Lord
Voldemort, you will find walls in passageways that lead to Save Books and Chocolate Frogs. These can be helpful if you are low on health.
BEATING THE LAST TROLL
Run as fast as you can until you get you get to an object that can be used
with Wingardium Leviosa.
Then, use the Charm, move it to the side, and let it drop.
When it gets to the bottom, press Triangle.
Keep doing this until all of the objects are on the side and you should see a
hole.
Jump over the hole and wait until the Troll falls in. Then, go to the door.
DEVIL'S SNARE
First: Hit the tentacle that turns light green (quickly) until all of them
(except the middle) are gone.
Second: Run around on the green part of the floor and do not get hit.
After the middle tentacle misses you, hit it with a charged Flipendo.
BERTIE BOTT BEANS
Collect the following amount of Bertie Bott beans to unlock an item behind
a portrait at Hogwarts.
50 Yellow Beans: Nimbus Two Thousand
70 Blue Beans: Glove for Quidditch
80 Green Beans: Card
100 Red Beans: Advanced Flipendo
CHESS MOVES
Follow these moves to complete the chess levels.
Level 1 moves: White, Right, Left, Right, Left.
Level 2 moves: Black, Up-Left, Down-Right, Left.
Level 3 moves: White, Up-Left, Up-Left, Up-Left, Down-Right,
Down-Right.
SECRET AREAS
If there is a bookshelf that you cannot climb on, press Square and it will
open.
You will find different things that will help you inside.
Also, there are parts on the castle walls outside that can be opened.
To tell if the wall can be opened, it will be a lighter colour. Press Square
to open it.
BOOKSHELVES
Behind one bookshelf you have to shoot pumpkins, cauldrons, and chocolate
frogs with your Flipendo. You will have to shoot them back for a Slytherin.
This is located in the Slytherin door across from your door in the entrance
hall.
CONTROL THE MAIN MENU
Press Triangle at the main menu to cause a lightning strike.
DIFFERENT ENDING
Collect all 17 Famous Witches and Wizards card to view an alternate
ending.
