BUTTON COMBINATION CHEATS
On the Mission Select screen, enter one of the Button Combos below to enable the Effect you require.
You will hear the phrase 'ah, that's better' to confirm.
Please note: There are two versions of some of the Button Combos (NTSC and PAL). If you are not sure which version of the game you have try both of them or check your game instructions and box.

How to unlock the Easy Mode (NTSC Version):
On the Mission Select screen, continuously press:
C-Up, Z. Ethan will say 'Ah, that's better' during this time. If activated correctly, game play will begin without turbo mode, but with almost double health. Hits will also inflict less damage.

UNLOCKING HINT
How to unlock the bonus level: Successfully complete the game and wait until Infogrames logo disappears after the ending credits. The development team will appear on the Embassy level. Speak to all the people here and Ethan and Candace will enter the room.

HINTS, TRICKS AND PLAYING TIPS
How to get a floating piano player: Activate the "Mini-rocket launcher" code and enter the Embassy level. Kill all of the guards, then enter the ballroom. Stand in the corner behind the piano, facing the piano player. Next, fire one rocket at the piano player's chest. The force of the blast will knock him off the bench. He will be dead, leaning over and floating in the air.
The Electric Ethan game glitch: Enable the "Invincibility" code and go to the C.I.A. Rooftop level. After you get the "zone digit code" objective done, run to jump over the rail. Take out the guards when you are running that way. Then, put the IR electric lens on to see the electric lines. Next, get the stabilizer out then run in the lines exactly at the same moment you put on the stabilizer. Ethan will fall down and you will hear a noise. If done correctly, Ethan will remain electric around his body, as if he had been shocked.
How to walk on water: Enable the "Turbo mode" code and begin game play on the first Ice Hit level. Get dropped off by the boat, then hurry over the boxes and the fence. Then, run around the fence to reach a road. Turn left, go towards the river and stop near the edge. When the boat comes around, jump on it and stay aboard to travel into the tunnel. Although your character will fall off the boat, he can walk on the water, as if on land. Keep waling all the way to where the boat traveled to reach a white screen.
The Sinking Ethan game glitch: Enable the "Kid mode" code. Go to the first level and watch the introduction sequence. You will see Ethan fall in the water, and it will say killed in action.
How to shoot the embassy people: Enable the "Unlimited ammunition" and weapons code. Complete the game. At the end, you will return to the embassy with various people present. Take out your weapon of choice and start shooting anyone you see. Look the embassy people -- they are not armed, and they will shoot you with their fingers. They can take a lot of hits. Note: Do not try to hide in the bathroom, they will follow you.
