HINTS AND PLAYING TIPS
How to get 4 extra lives: Move to the left edge of the screen instead of going through one of the two doors on the "Continue/Quit" screen that appears when a game is over. You will enter a secret room that contains four extra lives.
Pugsley's den: When you first start the game, go inside, but do not climb any stairs. Go left once you are inside the mansion under the first door, then press Up. In here, if you go up the stairs and position yourself above the door you came in, you will enter another secret area that contains one extra life and 3 Hearts.

BEHIND STAIRS
Here you will find several doors leading to places with lots of items. There is $24 here.
First Door on the Left, Take Heart: Several Hearts that give points and refill health; will regenerate after re-entering. Items: 24 Hearts
Second Door, Sports Hall: This room contains some money, weapons, and a life. The weapons will stay here for you to pick up later if needed. Items: $26, Fencing Sword, Ball, one extra life.
Third Top Door, The Cloak Room: This odd room has a sort of mirror image of the door you came from and several dollars. The door on the top can be accessed by hurrying out of The Hat Room with the Fezi-Copter and flying up. Items: $20.
The Top Door in The Cloak Room, The 1-Up Room: This room contains a long path ridden with lives for you to collect. Items: Two Training Shoes, nineteen extra lives.
Fourth Door, The Hat Room: Contains the Fezi-Copter, which helps you fly. You need the training shoes in the other room to jump the gap to get the shoes. The Fezi-Copter starts to disappear when you leave the hat room; you must hurry to The Cloak Room and fly up before it is gone. Items: Fezi-Copter
Fifth Room, Training Shoes: Contains the Training Shoes, which help you run and walk faster.
